On a side note, hanging out with Omar at Barnes and Nobles was super fun. I was like a little kid again running up and down the aisles checking out all the games and star wars stuff they had. I found this really cool holographic book for Star Wars and I kept messing around with it.
And Omar was a total fanboy when it came to Tony DiTerlizzi. The author kept walking around the bookstore just to kill time before the event and we kept coming across him and every time Omar would discreetly point him out. And what was even more funny was that when we actually went upstairs for the event and sat down, Tony DiTerlizzi comes in and sits right behind us because he was trying to blend in. And Omar was like trying so hard not to fanboy because his favorite author was sitting right behind him. His mom and I were cracking so badly. He just felt so awkward about the whole situation. Anyways, Omar ended up winning a signed sketch of one of his characters that the author did in front of us. I got a signed copy of his new book. :]
